Friday the thirteen. Chinese and English exams. Isnt it strange that they collide? Or maybe its a sign of inpeding doom...

Punishment

Punishment is usually given to ppl who break rules, kill people etc. The first few ppl usually gets the most severe punishments.

y?

I dunno. Maybe coz they r stupid enough to get caught. In that case, everyone's stupid.

Most severe punishment for first few is to act as a deterance, and dissuade ppl not to break the rules again. Does this mean that they are more guilty than the rest? No.

The only diff is that they get caught. The others are not. So even if they scold the ppl who do it they do feel guilty inside, and think "that could have been me!" What if i was at that place at that time breaking a rule? I might be the same! So cut some slack ppl.

Next, if the action does not actually lead to any really bad stuff, like maybe say, someone plans to rob the bank but got stopped and doesnt do it; are they wrong? Sure they might think about it, but in the end they didnt do anything bad rite? Well, i'm kinda divided on this. They didnt do wrong, they shouldnt be punished. But ok, since he even thought of it he must have been wanting to do it, so he should be punished.

But what if the crime is minor? What then? If the crime only has a minor chance of coming true, would the same thing apply? Say, playing on the road. Maybe pushing your friends and such. There is a minor risk that u would be knocked down, but no one really cares about that, do they? However, this would be different if the consequences are severe. Like if the crime causes huge amounts of money, time and such. Most ppl say, if its ur money, u can do whatever u want. If it belongs to someone else, dont do it or u will die (death by miss johnson). lol. I think in that too. Amen.

Sorry if i sound lame. In fact, sorry for everything. =) Life is an adventure; live it to the maximum...
