World Cup

Middle of school holidays, couple of weeks left, and the most exciting thing in 4 years have arrived.

The world cup.

Funny how a one month event can capture the attention of everyone, cause businesses to suffer heavy losses. But thats soccer.

About 10 or so matches have been played, and from the looks of it there will be two sides to this world cup. The boring side, currently employed by England, and the exciting one, used by holland and germany. Really, i regard england after their match with disgust. Get a goal, then slack all the way. What kind of attitude is that? So is the same with Japan. Just that Australia had cahill to bail them out. Maybe Rooney would be back, but are england going to stand there and sigh just because one player is not there?

On another note, holland played really well yesterday. I love teams that pass great and they are one of them. Germany, i'm not too sure cause i didnt watch their match (only allowed to watch those at 9) but 6 goals in that game, should be good. Though that doesnt mean that i like teams that have no idea what defence is. Germany used to be a great defensive team with a sucky scoring record but now it seems reversed.

I guess i am supporting a few teams. You would find most of them to have at least one Arsenal players so u could say i was biased. Anyway, spain france and holland are the few, though Brazil is almost definitely going to win and Argentina is pretty good i might add. Hmm... might have to rethink my choices...
