yesterday had soccer carn. Our team were the best! Deserved to win that final (played like arsenal on thursday, 23 chances (we had more) and still we didnt score). Oh well, it was still a blast yesterday.


first, we had to face a strong 1k side. dun snigger, coz they supposedly suck, but they had their two psl behind them and one was pro. Coz, we at 1p wasnt fazed and went up with a squad that only had alwyn (not that that was something to laugh about; alwyn roxs!) and managed to hold out for a penalty shootout. wc the worm was amazing in goal. u had to see him in action to believe that he easily saved four penalties, leaving opp in total shock. our team was much better, aloy and i scoring to put us through 2-0. amazing that jw and man, who were the best in training, didnt score. it was a great feeling to know that u put ur team through.


soon after, the skies were angry and rain poured down. all ernest's fault. bah! during that time two of our key players left because they thought it would nvr stop. I didnt think like that of course (if i did then had to go for tuition) so after 15 min, with 'help' from ernest, it stopped and sunlight poured through! not goo for us. our game was next and we were short of a player! horror! of course, we could play zydney but we were too keen on that, so instead we used our time-wasting strategies to best effect and delayed till, ye-lin, yuguang and nick quah came. it was a breeze against 1g, manfred scoring the only goal in the first half. till now, no one was able to score a goal against us!


finals. duh. u know what happened. we attacked and attacked, each cross looking to find a head, each strike waiting for the back of the neck. there was even a penalty, but man missed it. after a long time, it was again down to penalties.


Aloy missed. they scored. 1-0
JW missed. they missed. 1-0
Man missed. they scored. 2-0
I scored. they missed. 2-1


a glimmer of hope, but wc missed the last one and we got second! not bad for a team that was knocked out in the first round last time! next year, we shall be victorious!
