Campfire - OVER

finally, the month long wait is over. The campfire is over. So fun!!!

i guess the campfire is like the musical group's SYF, its one of the most important events in the scouting calendar, and everyone put in a lot of effort to make it work.

On saturday, day of campfire, went down to den in the morning, rehearsed till lunch, went for lunch, rehearsed again after that, ushered people in, changed the props dance (yes, sort of dance), and then slacked for the rest of the campfire. Whee!

There were glitches here and there, like when the slides were all too fast or the music went a little off (like during the funk dance -shivers-), but overall was great. If we had managed to hoist the tecko spider onto the web, it would have been way cooler... =)

The dance was kind of funny i guess, especially my pose, which was supposed to incur laughter by the way (not accidental), some ppl forgot their moves, but in the excitement i dun think most ppl noticed cuz they were all cheering and laughing. I loved getting owned by the sec 3 xD

All the effort was not put to waste! I hope they release a video of the whole campfire soon so i can see me screw up... hahaz...
