At the start of the year, the sec 2 batch of 01 decided to do a batch project. It would be great, yes, and we would have stalls selling items for charity at three different days: Walkajogaton, Special Walk, and National Day. There would be a lot of products, but there's so much time left, so why start planning now?
Now, its just two days to Special Walk. Argh... we narrowed our goal to just this event, and we're selling bookmarks and knots. Hope they do well. Anyway, the process has been mostly fun, though a little tiring. We started really doing stuff near the end of last week.
Thursday: Batch Meeting to start bookmarks
Friday: Batch meeting to finish drawing bookmarks + distribution of string to tie knots and learn how to tie
Weekend: tie knots
Monday: After act, meet up to collect more string and also discuss possible poster stuff.
Tuesday: settle logistics and ideas for lucky draw + finishing of knots.
Wednesday: Asked to tie up some complex knot with snake lash.
Thursday: received two new rolls of string. Ah knots...
I can say truthfully that I learned new stuff due to this batch project. It maybe help us bond as batch (?) but mostly, I learned importance of time management, + bonus of how to tie really fantastic knots! Whoppee!
Harry Potter on Saturday! Can't wait!
