yesterday went lanning and also went to sentosa for celebrations!

At sentosa, the J1s basically allowed us to run around, but since the ground was wet and it was drizzling a bit we just hid under a small umbrella and played bridge. Then the umbrella went, so we stood in the shelter and played bridge. =P

5.15, we went to siloso beach and started playing Captains ball. Actually we wanted rugby but a) the ground was too wet b) some people were wearing sandals. The J1s then called us back in a horseshoe. The 'fun' act begins.

First, bury someone to their knees in sand. Easy peasy. KF did Hiok for this one because his legs shorter than mine, and PLs werent allowed otherwise Shide would be the most popular choice. =) Nay myo didnt have change of clothes. Second, bury someone else's chest under sand. WTH. I had to do this one, and i foolishly took off my shirt, which got sand sticking all over my body. Third, bury your PL's whole body except from the face in the sand. Poor shide. Lol, we moved a lot of sand that day. Shide was totally buried, even the hair, and he couldnt even talk! Surprise!

Fourth. Help your PL bathe by dunking them in the ocean. Its Shide for goodness sake! We managed to persuade him to roll himself into the water so we won't have to exert ourselves.

Then the PLs striked back. They started pulling people into the water. First the APLs, then the other sec 3s. Of course, by this time, they were looking for another target, and since Yi Ming was very 'popular' with them... The sec 1s were pulled in next. The sec 1s, being close to the J1s themselves... Hiok Chiou was next. Hiok Chiou, being a J1... All the J1s went down next.

Where's the sec 2s? They were safely away from water, trying to avoid the action. The sec 3s noticed - we were the last batch not in - and started coming towards us. I avoided them for a while, before seeing that almost everyone would be down in the water (except those without change of clothes, injuries), so I just went and help drag Hiok down with me. =P haha sorry Hiok!

Everyone was in, and then Anurak started kamikazing sec 2s. At first I managed to keep on 2 feet, then he suddenly came from behind... Hiok even lost his specs in one of the attacks (he found it back later with a lens missing)

All in all, damn fun. However, later when I went to change, I realised i didnt bring change of clothes. WTH. I stayed in wet, soggy, salty, smelly attire for the rest of the night.

Announced the post that night too. I got Patrol Leader Kingfisher! Yay! That's a great post. Hiok became PL of Hawk, which is damn sad because he'll be leaving KF! He's been a great patrolmate to be with for two years, wish him all the best! In his place, Zhong Jun joined KF as APL. Three out of four sec 2 2008 KF members got a post! KF FTW!
