this year i was in costumes/props. Previous years always in dance, so it was a nice change for me i guess. especially when this year the sec 2/3 dancers were pole-dancing =D it is quite a long and tiring journey. No doubts about that. Let's see... at the start, there was the feeling that the comm is quite slack and stuff, but then we all wanted the costumes to look extra cool and nice, so ended up with the 4 piece costumes the guards were wearing >.< i know i know...
There's two sec 4s in the costumes/props (CP), wayne and chester. After all the preps i seriously see sec 4 life is some bomb... wayne had all his prefect duties and chester had other commitments too. Although they didnt come for a few acts, they still managed to do a lot a lot of stuff. Like the sec 1 wings by chester. =) omg they were so pretty lah! Wayne helped out loads in development of the costumes. Sometimes not easy being in charge u know, so its good to have someone to look towards for guidance.
Sec 3 were me and bryan, unfortunately, somehow bryan managed to come for only three or four activities, so not much there. After that, all sec 1s and 2s: minglun, brandon, yenter, roy, daryl. and zhang ren joined a few acts later... try to be focused more zhangren, dun go randoming around and annoy ppl. damn annoying when u do that... =( but then i guess all of them did a lot too. =) good job!
During annual show itself, CP became backstage. One of the best jobs ever. Basically we get close up view of the action, plus additional bonus action offstage. Like how ben hong and norris' toga kept falling off (20+ safety pins used), how haliim can catch grapes with his mouth, how gross fear factor food is (>.<). Also, we were excused from wearing scout uniform! Hurray! Overall we did a good job, except a few times when we couldnt see the action and poked our heads out. Lol. Especially at the dances scenes. Not bad, dancers!
