annual camp is in... 11 hours! I'm so excited i could go to sleep! Wow...
its tiring being sec 3, haha, but i'm pretty sure there are perks to this job. read: pretty sure. Annual Camp's gonna be an interesting experience totally. Currently, after one intense week of scouts chionging/mugging, gonna see the results in the next few days.
today went to move poles from braddel west to farrer park primary, and then sort them. totally boring and physically straining (ie sunburnt, cuts, psychological trauma from frogs, lizards. dun ask). this is usually done with the entire SU, but this year's J1s decided the sec 3s only would be enough, and yeah, managed to finish a lot of work.
farrer park primary. the venue of our camp. haha, small but cosy little place, especially the field, made for soccer and thus grassy but still firm =D the wet market's still a big question mark for me, because all it seems to sell is raw food, as in RAW fresh food, not what i'm used to buying from supermarkets, such as canned food, but i guess we'll make the most of it. poles are sufficient, banners and boards ready.
time to show them what we're all about.
