after RE meeting with mrs povil on friday, went home, took a nice bath, went to my grandmother's house. actually was worried i was going to be late, but then just nice, ended up at pathlight at 8.55. I was the second sec 3 there zzz. basically from 9 to about 12 we were just lala-ing around, helping out wherever jeremy wanted. and hiok dropped a staple into the dunking pool. dropped. a. staple. O.o jeremy had him fish it out =). then we finally got a break, got shown into this huge room above the hall to sleep.
of course we played cards. bridge is fun.
time flies fast, soon it was almost 2.30. went to sleep. woke up 2 hours later to help with the balloons. you should have seen the balloons. you should have tried to see the ceiling above all that balloons.
after that went to our hubs. mine was hub 4, at townsville primary, where we had AC in 2006. they had prepared some kind of musical performance. we were too well prepared, ended up havnig to wait an hour for the people to arrive. at first it was just a trickle of people, like 2 or 3, and we were wondering 'what's wrong?'. a few minutes later a whole crowd appeared. we gave out some waistbands. and i koped one for myself =) its a very... interesting color. when zaki appeared with the garbage bag we quickly made ourself disappear back to pathlight.
after that was basically 'free and easy'. the sec 3's job is to just man our stall, which was moderately visited by people. most people just seem to like the dunking station... anyway, the whole funfair thing was pretty much a success i think, there were so many things to do and eat you had to have a lot of coupons to truly experience it. anyway, i managed to spend zilch for the whole thing because every scout got a free coupon and tak wei gave me TWO coupons omg thanks tak wei. so thats $30 worth of free stuff. nice.
had some food to pass as lunch. $4 for a plate of spaghetti. omg rip off... but for a good cause. otherwise how they earn money? then came the dunking.

okay i suck at dunking. spent like how much money to try to dunk kenneth, francis, sup, anurak and yan zhi, all fail. And people like Jack gets a hit on his first shot. zzz. nonetheless there were quite a lot of dunkings... and i managed to catch some of them on my phone! yay phone.
after spending all my coupons, manned the stall for a while. by about 2pm the only sec 3s still left at the stall was francis, jack, me, and anurak, who was getting dunked. at least 6 times. so me and jack went upstairs to our sleeping area, found like 7 people playing cards / sleeping / playing psp. we joined them =)
first game I had ten jack queen king ace of spades. and i still lost. haha, because jack had his spree going. me and jack together never lose, thats called synergy.
Oh and this is the similidon slide thing. never tried it.
then came clear-up. stayed for like one hour, before i had to go prepare for a dinner function. was quite boring... yay for pokemon.
i don't want to post about the first class hike chionging in the same post... shall do it another time
