This is post 197. Soon to be that magic 2-0-0 haha i dun remember blogging that much in sec 1 and 2... speaking of special numbers, today Singapore turns 43 years old! 43 years since we officially became one little island all alone in the ocean... its amazing how far we've come. i think i'm quite lucky to have been born when Singapore became developed otherwise i won't be writing this now i guess. Bah.

Today we went for a family outing. family as in with cousins and stuff. haha on my mother's side i'm the oldest 'child' (!) which is sad because i was the first to be excluded of all the christmas presents =( anyway we went bowling, and i havent played in months so duh i was a bit rusty. but luckily my natural skills luck held out so ended up with a respectable score of 126. Haha almost almost got a turkey but it was strike-strike-no strike-strike. Pro skills right?

Then we had take-away dinner of pizza hut + KFC + sushi. I think i havent eaten mac's for at least 3 months now... not missing it though! it was quite crowded in the house, 12 adults + 7 kids. The kids were playing PSP and com games. Haha my cousin one third my age plays a Maple Story account twice my level... wth. And the tv was on and we watched the national day parade. raining in buckets. we were all waiting for someone to run out with the umbrellas(ella) but the ministers just continue walking in the rain. Manly sia. The fireworks looks cool though... havent watched a NDP fireworks live since 2 or 3 years ago i think. Could hear the boom-boom of the explosions from my house. Damn laggy. Someone find a way to synchro the TV and the real thing.

lets see lets see... SS we're studying quite a bit about Singapore currently. It definitely is a great home, we live sheltered lives, hardly any crime. 43 years of freedom, thats over 4 decades. One small island with no resources...

ooh i'm patriotic. another good trait to add to my list.
