Infinite! Dream. Drive. Destiny.

Was planning to do a long post on the day-to-day happenings, but then i suddenly realised there's not much really to talk about.

Being a non-class based PSL for Sec 1 Orientation kind of reminds me of being an SS in SUTC... during that camp we sit around in our room, helping out with activities, planning a few, and basically interact with the trainees only a few times. Quite fun, and a good experience. Orientation camp was like that, although much bigger scale.

Armageddon, Hike and Fright Night. 3 things that i did in which i really did something. =/ the rest... just to say holding up the flag during war games sitting between the hockey goalposts is not that fun.

I think the fun part was just being around with the non-class based PSLs, like aaron ryoji worm and talking with the class-based PSLs during the games or stations when we saw them.
For example, water games was fun because i got to run around pelting other people with water... and then running away from them, getting back-stabbed, wrestling with guan lin (lol).

Then there was Armageddon where me, yuet cheong, zheng yang and amrish developed our hula-hoop boomerang trick. although only like 5 classes came to our stations. well.

Bishan hike wasn't too bad. Stationed with theodore and du yan. a random guy came over and talked to us about jesus and the bible for 15 minutes. apparently you sin roughly about 3 times a day. he even took out a calculator to count for us. haha i think i know my sins better than him! 7-up station is good practice for maths... especially when the target is 300. I did about 5 classes for that station. haha bomb.

Fright night was a good effort. Wanted to go around the school to scare people too, but then I had to be the guy with the walkie talkie at the start of the station. At the clocktower sia, not that scary. So i just stand behind a pillar, whenever a group of sec 1s come I jump out and point the walkie-talkie at them. lol you should have seen how many were shocked! =D the science block part of the walk was damn scary. ideas for 01 night walk hahaz.

On the third day i basically did nothing. Nada. Zip. Slack through the day till the finale, and just when finale started I got sent out to do ushering for the remaining part of the camp.

Got to know some people i hardly/never talk to before! like ryan tan, max, dan chander, aravin, lock leong, theodore, kah khang, chen tian, ting wei, davin, kai lun, du yan, yuet cheong, zheng yang, shaun tan, greg antono, jim, daniel ng, wesley aw and some more. lol basically i'm listing people who i at least can pin a face to during the course of PSL so far... hope all those people remember me too XD

After that, first day of lessons, which was quite okay because the teachers took pity on the PSLs. and we have 4 HoDs teaching us this year! Geog, Bio, Chinese, Physics. Okay, mrs tay is physics head. subject head then. sitting in the same place, next to lionel, second row from teachers table. its nice. and thanks(?) people for thinking i can be in the CEC... its great to know that some people think i'm good enough.

Friday was Raffles Trail and JRIC. basically the other ventures had been preparing on monday, wednesday, thursday, which i couldnt attend due to PSL and tuition... sad. But it was really nice. A little mix up with 02, but still, i think our booth was one of the few with a lot of effort put in. Good job everyone!

Again, couldnt help out =/ had to help with JRIC. folded booklets and pasted stickers on seats, pasted signs all over the school. Best part is: I get to wear a blazer and black shoes during JRIC! Haha defining moment of my life sia. I look so cool. Sad, why am i not a prefect... haha.
