I shall skip the boring parts of the day (3 graded assignment/tests today. omg) and move on to the CEC investiture!
it was pretty cool. there were bright colored spotlights, a plasma screen, speakers and a crystal ball. and during the start and end there were FIREWORKS. (phew phew)
thanks mr law and all the CEC level comm who made the event so spectacular and way better than Prefects Investiture (lol). pity it was only one hour. haha. maybe if it was a little longer we'll get to miss more lessons =P
becoming asst monitor this year was quite a surprise for me, since i was at sec 1 orientation when the vote was carried out. i guess i'm happy that people in 4M actually voted for me to be in the CEC. delwyn is monitor, he is a nice guy and got loads of influence; ye oon is treasurer, he is corrupt and spends all the money (joking...). fun guy. and mrs tay is a great teacher too; thanks for the bookmark! i hope i'll be able to help her with the class matters as well as handling the class. i'll try my best with this noisy class (:
and after school we did geog poster. a respectable product in the end, but due to printing problems only could have it in black and white. so sad. especially it was greenwave, so should have green right?
wander to the den, talked to francis, then wander aimlessly home. walking through the cool new Bishan Harmony Park is interesting... all the skate stuff looks cool. sat down a bit and stoned for quite a while. wonder if i'll still be in RI when it opens. if i'll still be the same person. good or bad?
it takes two hands to clap
but if one hand decides to stone
the other hand will just have to use twice as much effort
to make the same noise
