Maris: The Legend

Weekends! best days of the week. (: especially since my parents are not around (they're went for a holiday). Hoho you must be thinking what kind of scandalous ways I could have been spending these few days, but of course as it was me, nothing much happened. -yawn-

Friday was the last pathlight song-teaching session, and we were late as usual haha. blame the bus. it went along fine though, the pathlighters picked up the songs pretty fast and were quite enthusiastic and loud. lol it was quite fun trying to teach them the song 'BP spirit'. one guy came up to me and asked me why we were singing a song about British Petroleum. and the last part of the song is still awkward. hopefully we taught them the right thing haha.

After that some of us went back to RI for soccer (hiok didnt pangseh). again, quite fun! i think i'm either getting better at soccer or the other people are getting worse... managed to score another goal! woots. although i did score an own goal too heheh... and yes, gifford did dribble past me. it is something i shall be ashamed about for the rest of my life XD

Yesterday was slack... basically stayed at home to do homework. without parents and a car the foodstuff in my house is getting fewer and fewer, and its quite troublesome to have to take a bus to buy stuff... sad that i live in such an ulu area. there was a marist campfire though at night, so i walked about 3 bus stops to the food court, had dinner, walk that same distance back, changed up, and walked another bus stop to maris stella. good exercise!

the campfire was pretty well-organized, only their sound system was a little screwed up, so we didnt get to hear most of what they said. another sad thing was the attendance, as only 5 ventures and 2 SU came, but it was okay i guess. Talked quite a bit with yw and wayne about J1 life and about other scout stuff. our campfire coming up in 3 weeks! suddenly it seems so close lol.

after the campfire, ate a lot of food from their reception (mmm... cream puffs) then brought joel and jack to the MRT. technically it is quite far (4 bus stops) but it doesnt really feel that way. stopped over at my house for me to change into something less stuffy, then we walked. and talked. nice. and the neighborhood looks different at night. stopped at a playground for a while, and when we reached MRT jack 'treated' me to a drink. lol this isn't jobweek! i shall return him a drink soon!

and after they left, i went outside and walked another 3 bus stops home. seemed quieter without their company. and reached home in time to watch adebayor score two against man city. (:
