NAPFA

(joke)
Chin Jie: Alvin, you disprove Murphy's Law right? What about Cole's Law?

If you're not laughing its ok, take your time.

4M scolded during CLE. why? something stupid. no need to say. random people, shouldnt have happened, and why, out of all lessons, choose to do it during CLE? weird. at least it didnt last too long. video was nice.

physics quiz back! there was one question where we were supposed to find the temperature of a mixture of a hot and cold substance at two different points. The final temperature was supposed to be much higher (around twice of the first temperature). and i ended up calculating a temperature lower than the first temperature. lol. luckily, only minus 1 mark. i love method marks!

NAPFA is real deal and coming next week. for 2.4km run, my test timing is 11.15, which is still something to improve on. but it'll do. worried about standing broad jump (my old nemesis) and sit and reach. i am as flexible as homework datelines. no problem sitting but problem reaching.

will my survival in the future depend on whether i can jump with both feets, or touch my toes without bending my knees (i can't)?

imagine an earthquake. and you're running along the road trying to avoid debris, and suddenly a 2.10m fissure opens in front of you. you cannot turn back.

so would you stop all movement, stand with two feet (pun not intended) in front of the fissure (no passing the gap), swing your arms a couple of times, and then jump (both feet leaving simultaneously) and scream in horror as you miss by a couple of cm and fall plunging into magma (rmb to sink into the hot magma both feet together - otherwise can fail)

or would you just move a few steps back, and take a running leap with your stronger leg, reaching out with your leg to gain extra distance, and land safely on the other side?

unless SBJ tests psychomotor skills, then maybe they should change it to something easier, like extreme tightrope-walking or something.
