smiling inside

took the ride at 9:31 PM
SS test returned today... truly marks the end of term 1.

for once, i'm actually quite happy with my results. last term had some pretty cool moments academically, such as getting high marks in some tests, even subjects like maths and ss which i dun normally do that well... haha and topping the class in some aspects, no matter what the standard of the class is compared to others is still undeniably sweet. my calculated GPA is a record for me so far! (:

however, there's still this edge of wariness looking at the results... knowing that this is only a small part of the whole year, what with HCL o levels and all, and the good work so far can be lost if i dun work hard in the future! no, i'm not going to become a mugger, but i'm going to treat each test, each assignment, each homework seriously and put in my all!

after reading joel's blog, and reflecting, i think that results aren't really everything, that the process matters a lot too. if i'm going to aim for something this year i'm going to hope i grasp the subjects, understand everything and seriously make use of my last year in RI.

lol results will come naturally (:
