Senan Dia!

today was my first time being parade commander! (: yup i screwed up. somehow i combined senan diri with sedia, and it became senan dia. haha forgive me for that! other than that, i hope i was ok. anyway i probably won't get another chance to screw up until at least two months later lol.

tuesday was our 'semifinal' match against NPCC, and sadly we lost 2-0. was missing loads of first team people, so it wasn't so bad overall. then today NCC took on 02, and immediately let in 2 goals in the first few minutes. almost give me heart attack. but they eventually fought back to win 4-3. why they make it so hard on themselves haha.

another thing that happened this week is Geog OBA. i dunno why, i seem to find a lot of trouble doing geog. maybe its because dr chionh keeps reminding everyone that there is '25 mins left... you should have started on question 2 already!' when i am just starting on question 1b.

oh and after OBA, we had a small party for shi leon with CAKE! happy bday! he totally stuffed his face with cake... literally XD anyway i guess he had a good time (:

thursday was Ambassadors Series, a talk by the Danish Ambassador (Vibeke Rovsing Lauritzen). Denmark and Singapore are alike in many ways, but methods are so different. no exams until 6th grade?! wow. and they are the happiest country too. i think singaporeans should also appreciate our country and our good lives...

had tea reception with her after that, wanted to ask a question but the rest like ben mak was shooting questions left right center so i couldn't say anything haha. the ambassador was good though, she just answered them all. she asked us about our education pressure too, and a lot of people seemed very proud that they only had a few hours of sleep? since when was that good? its like we are happy to be stressed or something. and when talking about the environment, she asked: "why are Singaporean cinemas so cold?!!" i agree (:

and tmr is RI openhouse. today we spent over 5 hours preparing the gateway structure for tmr. why are structures always so hard? because they are made of wood. it looks great in the end... mr yuen came over and helped out loads. and i think the sec 2s and 3s aren't that screwed up after all.

this week i have been very quiet, dunno why, but overall still a great week. and after next week, i guess there'll be more stuff to come (:
