something wrong with my blogskin. shall fix it after term ends haha.

yesterday was replacement holiday for vesak day! to celebrate this day, we went out to do something instead of mugging at home for once haha. at first i thought it was just going to be a few people, but in the end it ended up from 4 people to about 8 people. kenneth lam, jack, tak wei, francis, anurak, zhong jun, leonard, me.

first, we went to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine. finally. i think since it was a weekday they didnt bother to show adverts, so when we entered we already missed maybe 5 mins of the movie. :( but it was okay, the movie was quite good overall! lots of cameos by random characters... i guess those who didnt read x-men before might not get it. and it links quite well to the other x-men movies. rating: 3.5/5.

after the movie, we took a bus to serangoon gardens and ate lunch at a special place (haha) and then went bowling! sadly, only one lane available, so 7 of us squeezed. still it was fun! everyone spare at least once! i scored 114 i think (: sadly, tak wei was holding back a bit, so his ball speed didnt manage to hit the 40km/h mark which we expected (only 37+. wow)

leonard joined us, then, since the bowling alley still too full, we went to play pool instead! 2 tables, so 2v2 on each table. its a nice place... only us there. lol somemore need dress code (long pants). the uncle at the counter was kind enough to lend anurak long pants (thanks!) while zj wore his school pants. each of us played about 6 games of pool, rotating partners haha. leonard was obviously the pro. pool is kind of like carrom, except that it isn't like carrom. BUT zj and i managed to do the unthinkable and beat leonard and jack lol.

soon, after 2 hours of pool it was 5.30, so we stopped. the pool was dam cheap haha. then took bus to serangoon with zj and jack, then split up and walked home.
