Firstly, was the New Zealand trip, which was great! 10 days of just pure resting and sight-seeing... plus a bit of action haha. But seriously, New Zealand is a beautiful country... everywhere you turn you'll find a great view and some seriously breath-taking stuff, like the glaciers as well as Mt Cook. The skies were rather kind to us too, it only rained on 2 or 3 of the days, and the temperature was at a cool 18 degrees or so. Being there really makes you realise how vast and amazing the world is. First, there's Singapore in our tiny island, then there's NZ and all the other countries with their majestic mountains, then there's well... the entire universe. Had my first clear look at the starry sky. What a sight.
If you think about it, its funny, we were talking with some Australian tourists on our rafting boat when they asked about Singapore, and they were totally gobsmacked when we said there were about 4.5 million people on a 40km long island. That's about the whole population of New Zealand! Could see them trying to imagine us living in cubicle size housing. Lol. NZ is great, Singapore is great too in other ways!
Since NZ was so big, we had to go on road trips, staying in different places every night, but the worst part is the long car rides. Even worse for my father who was driving! But we just played lots and lots of music and listened to their radio, and look outside the window for more amazing scenes. Once we had to drive literally inches away from a waterfall, another time we got stopped by a herd of sheep crossing. Lol.

Glacier Trek! Had to go up a mountain through a humid rainforest before coming down to walk on the glacier with 'clampon' shoes. But seriously, one of the most amazing experiences I had.
Puzzling World! The whole room is tilted at an insane degree.
River Rafting, where our instructor told us we went into the final turn doing everything wrong but still didn't capsize XD You can see from my face I'm bracing for impact...
