Today we celebrated Fuxin's and Hannah's birthday! Presents plus a nice cake. (bought by me!) And everyone took a slice and promptly gobbled it down in a bite haha. Oh well, symbolism haha. Our OGLs also took the chance to pass us their gifts for us! Shoelaces in the form of our names, its really something to see. In cursive too! (: As well as personal notes. THANKS! :D

I don't think I've commented on my class, but definitely we are the BEST! There's Chin Jie, Eric, Moses, Kwun Tong, Shawn, Chen Long, Ryan Chin, Teng Yang from RI, haha, you can already tell they are a good bunch, followed by Colin, Kathleen, Gary, Jaslyn, Jocelyn, Laura, Li Khee, Yidan, Brander, Natalie, Srruthi, Linh, Yi Xin, Vincent, William, Zheng Xi and Yimeng, who just transferred in haha. There's still some distance to us forming strong (covalent) bonds, but we're definitely getting there with all the after-school mugging sessions lol.

Lecture and tutorial system takes some getting use to, problem is the lectures are waay behind the tutorials, but overall still coping ok heh. Not feverishly finishing whole worksheets like some people yet though (guess who?). And the tutors and lecturers are friendly enough, some have a healthy sense of humor haha. Especially in econs, they practically make their own jokes on the powerpoints lol. And then laugh at themselves during lectures.

Our Econs tutor: "free goods aren't free..."
Our ex-GP tutor: "vulgarities should be used more often..."
Our current GP tutor: "you should all go Japan to find a wife..."

Its great to just be able to sit back and take life as it goes by, even for a little while. (:
