thats the slogan for the Envirolympics competition this year haha. Actually its pretty cool in a singlish/informal way, but when its printed on a shirt it kinda makes me want to laugh! "Green is cool yo!" Trying to be hip and cool, BUT overall not bad heheh.
So this morning was the briefing, going to be facils with quite a lot of 11s06Ppl and many other RJ ppl too. And its cool cos I got paired with a school which I didn't expect haha. Can see the effort put in by the organisers, hope everything goes well and we'll have a fun time on the actual day yea!
Briefing was at Jurong East, but i wanted to go have a look at Openhouse and the 01 booth, so after lunch where eric generously shared his drink with everyone's feet/pants, i took an MRT back to Bishan. It's a long journey, especially when you're alone, almost dozed off but gave my seat to someone else, so i stood semi-comatose instead. I kinda understand why some people can sleep so late every day, since they seem to be able to catch up a lot going to and from school. Meanwhile I'll just be thanking my parents for having the foresight to park us near the then-nonexistent Bartley MRT site.
Openhouse was going fine, despite a little drizzle, and i have to mention yi ming and rui liang for their sense of responsibility, really nice of them to stay the whole day. Met yousheng, yimeng, kwun tong, lionel, jordan, huihao and other RJ people. Not sure why they were there, but i'm guessing they're looking for a good school to restart their secondary school education too (ehh but wrong school Yimeng!) Nice catching up with you guys. RJ just seem to lack the zing of close social interaction mehh.
Of all the things i still remember,
Summer's never looked the same,
The years go by and time just seems to fly,
But the memories remain.
Time should really flow backwards, sometimes.
