after the rain

Today's one of the last few PE lessons of the year. Already! I feel like some slack PE rep haha, didn't do a single thing maan. We played soccer as a class, which was quite fun, quite a light-hearted and easy game, and I managed to bundle the ball into the net after hopping with it between my legs around 2 classmates. Epic win haha!

And RJ flooded in the afternoon during some severe thunderstorm. One minute it was clear and the next it was literally a wall of water crashing down haha. The carpark area around the basketball courts managed to flood up till the cabin floor of the cars, which is a heck lot considering its quite a large area. And one freak wave generated by a car trying to escape caught me by surprise and drowned my shoe while we headed towards LT6 for a GP talk. Why are shoes so absorbent?

And ironically the speaker giving the talk was saying how Singapore has a good environment and there's no natural disasters AND FLOODS like other countries. Then he paused for a moment as he realised how funny it was, amidst the PA announcement to car owners to move their vehicles out of the wading pool that was the roads haha.

It's true what they say, when some doors close, others open, so we never have to stop in our tracks.
