11S06P Class Chalet was EPIC. Rented two rooms for the night and spent the whole night out cycling instead. XD
After school, most of us went home to pack or went for CCA, and only went for the chalet much later. Arrived at 4.30pm with Chin Jie and Shawn, and we met up with Vincent and Gary at Aloha. They went to get static-fied with the xbox and as more people came, we had a few rounds of bridge. Li Khee the sly one haha! And it was pretty lucky that CJ went to the bike rental shop at 6pm or else we might not even have bikes to cycle on, in the end walked a pretty long distance over 2 bridges to get to a small shop with a kind uncle who gave us baskets and water bottles for free. Excited over free stuff, yea.
Bought food from Popeyes and Pizza Hut for a dinner which was too little then too much... While eating Mr Teo shared his worldly views and got into debates with Shawn, for subjects that may/may not be of a political nature haha. Then, a little more bridge / xbox / singing before we set off on the epic journey.
We started at 11.30pm.
We ended at 6.30am, 7 hours later.
Like I said, epic. We were doing well until we hit Bedok Reservoir, coincidentally where our PW group got lost the last time. And history repeated itself, only we decided to just cut south instead and got into a bizarre situation where we crossed empty roads because of dead-end underpasses. When we arrived at East Coast it was already 4am, and we decided to hit the Changi route, which was this freaking long stretch, and it was both boring yet calm to ride. Does that make sense? I didn't think anything made sense at 5 in the morning hahaha. But yea, pit-stop at Changi before a last dash back. Surprisingly, besides a few gear malfunctions and cramps, no harm done to any of us! :D Adventurous, fit and awesome: that's us! Not to mention severely brain-dead at that point hahaha.
Everyone kinda conked out for an hour or so (except xbox addicts), then we had a few games of fifa and halo (where I killed Moses in the first kill of the day before he learned to wield his plasma thing) before returning bikes, and sleeping home with Eric, Brander and Chinjie.
And for the IHC meeting after that, totally brain-dead but hakka was fun. (: Even though I already did it before for scouts XD
Sleep came easy after all that (:
